Your role

As the Demi Chef de Partie, you support the Sous Chef with the daily kitchen routines. You will use your management and first-class cook skills to ensure the best quality and increase the profitability of our department. You are expected to deliver experience and motivate the staff to ensure an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. What do your daily tasks look like?

  • All preparatory and execution activities for your partie
  • Checking ingredients for quality and freshness
  • Assist with the planning
  • Keep track of stocks and replenish when necessary
  • Close collaboration and communication within your F&B team
  • Guiding students

Job requirements

Our ideal candidate

Our ideal candidate is a dedicated, reliable person who has already gained a few months of work experience in a similar role. You value an optimum quality of our dishes and their presentation. Therefore, no dish leaves the kitchen careless and uncontrolled. Because of your good understanding of high efficiency and concept experience, you create a pleasant working atmosphere which results in excellent performance in the kitchen and more than satisfied guests in our hotel. In short, you have:

  • A relevant degree within F&B;
  • Affinity with Food & Beverage, hospitality is your hobby!
  • 6+ months of work experience within, or closely related to, the same role;
  • Excellent English skills (both verbal and written), Dutch skills is a pre;
  • You have a keen eye on details;
  • A proactive and flexible work posture;
  • The good characteristic to be able to motivate people from within;
